Dos Pueblos’ softball team couldn’t shake its offensive woes in the early season on Wednesday as the Chargers were topped 2-1 at Cabrillo.
Dos Pueblos has managed to score only three runs in four games.
“We’re having a power outage,’ lamented Chargers coach Donn Roberts.
Hannah Harris drove in DP’s lone run, scored by Agnetta Cleland in the third inning.
Dos Pueblos actually held a 1-0 lead at that point but gave up two runs in the bottom of the fifth to lose the advantage.
The Chargers (0-4) start Channel League play on Friday at Ventura and play again on Saturday in the finale of the Susan Manlet Tournament.
