Dos Pueblos’ boys tennis team picked up its fifth win of the season on Friday, holding down visiting Stockdale 16-2.
The Chargers won 8-of-9 sets in both doubles and singles, led by Austin Cano’s three victories in singles and sweeps in doubles from Andy Silverstein-Eric Katz and Malcolm Sutton-Christian Edstrom. Sutton and Edstrom were particularly effective, only dropping three games in the three sets.
DP stands at 5-4, 0-2 and Stockdale falls to 7-7.
Stephen Long took over for Sasha Gryaznov and rallied from 3-5 down to win 7-5.
