Johnny Brand had 11 kills and Spencer Shull added six, but the Bishop Diego boys volleyball team couldn’t keep up with Oak Park in a 25-21, 25-13, 25-12 loss on Tuesday.
“We are rebuilding this year, and the building’s getting taller as we speak. That first set was pretty remarkable, but then the wheels fell off the cart,” said coach Joe Reiken.
The Cardinals host Cathedral at home on Friday before playing in the Dos Pueblos Invitational on Saturday.
