Freshman guard Greer Shull scored a career-high 12 points in her second start of the season as the Bishop Diego girls basketball team cruised to a 53-27 win over visiting Grace Brethren on Thursday.
Janelle Kohler added 10 points with 10 rebounds while Kelsey Stimson had eight points and six assists. The Cardinals (15-9, 5-3) are tied for second place in the Frontier League with Carpinteria.
“Our defense applied a lot of pressure and for the second game in a row we did a really good job of sharing the ball,” said coach Jeff Burich.
Bishop plays at Louisville in Woodland Hills on Saturday.
