Freshman Kelsey O’Brien has been putting up big numbers for the Santa Barbara High girls water polo team all season.
It was Claire Bergthold’s turn on Wednesday, as the freshman scored three goals with four assists and two steals in the Dons’ 16-1 win over Ventura.

Leah Gonzales added a hat trick, and 10 of the Dons’ 12 field players scored. Maddie Trabucco had four saves in the first half and Chloe Brooks added six in the second.
The Dons (16-10, 5-2 Channel League) play at Buena on Thursday.
