Wednesday’s Condor League clash didn’t go according to plan for Cate. Far from it.
The league-leading Rams could have clinched a league title with a win over Dunn, instead coming up empty in a 6-0 shellacking from the Earwigs.
It was the first loss in league for Cate, which falls to 6-1-2.
The Rams now have to win on Friday to earn a league co-championship with Dunn. The Rams should win having just beat its opponent, Ojai Valley School, 7-0 on Monday.
