Taking it game-by-game on its march to a third-straight CIF championship, Dos Pueblos’ girls water polo team knocked its latest opponent out of the way on Friday in a 11-3 Division-I quarterfinal victory at Foothill.
The No. 1 Chargers were never threatened, holding a 9-0 lead after three quarters.
“The girls came out ready to go,” said Dos Pueblos head coach Danelle Little, saying her team is playing at their highest level right now. “We did exactly what we needed to do for three quarters.”
Alex Hill and Kiley Neushul shared the scoring lead with three goals apiece. Amanda Redfern and Jamie Neushul tallied two more each. Kodi Hill recorded a goal and added three assists and two steals.
Sami Hill stopped 10 shots in the cage and recorded a steal.
