Caitlin Wallace and Amanda Burch continued to score at an impressive rate, combining for 44 points as the Carpinteria girls basketball team handed visiting Santa Paula a 50-28 loss on Thursday night.
Burch has now scored 21 points in three consecutive games.
Natalie Hipple came off the bench and got her first bucket of the season while also grabbing five rebounds. Burch went 9-for-13 from the charity stripe while Wallace was 3-for-3.
Next up for the Warriors (14-8, 5-3) is Grace Brethren, followed by a home game against rival Bishop Diego which will likely decide second place in the Frontier League.
