Mario Elias and Chuy Lopez carried Dos Pueblos’ wrestling team at the Nogales Super Champs Invitational on Friday and Saturday, recording top-five results as the Chargers finished 17th out of 66 teams.
Elias was fourth in the 135-pound division and 140-pound Lopez took fifth. Chad Lampe came through with an eight-place finish in the 103-pound class.
Shannon Dixon, Austin Webster, Harrison Solomon and Lucas Rascon finished their meet in the consolation brackets.
Dos Pueblos travels to Buena for a Channel League match on Wednesday.
