Grace Williams poured in 14 points to lead Cate’s girls basketball team to a 36-33 Condor League win over Thacher on Wednesday, improving to 2-1 in league.
Katrina Von Burg and Simone Nettles followed with six points each, while Nettles hauled in a team-high 11 rebounds.
The two rivals matched each other point for point in the fourth quarter after the Rams took a three-point lead heading into the final quarter with a 10-5 third period.
Cate, 4-5 overall, faces Dunn in its next contest on Feb. 3.
