MAFF announces KUT boot camp

Martial Arts Family Fitness (MAFF), a family-owned and operated school dedicated to improving lives through martial arts, announced today the KUT Fitness Boot Camp to help locals stay on top of their New Year’s resolutions. The event will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Martial Arts Family Fitness, located at 122 E. Gutierrez Street in Santa Barbara.

“Kickboxer’s Ultimate Training, or KUT, is a proprietary fitness and weight loss program we offer at MAFF,” said Melodee Meyer, co-owner of Martial Arts Family Fitness. “It is a nine-week program that incorporates cardio kickboxing, resistance training and support with healthy eating. Our students all become more fit and many lose a great deal of weight.”

“Weight loss is more than just working out,” added Dave Wheaton, Chief Instructor and co-owner of Martial Arts Family Fitness. “Proper weight loss includes the building of lean muscle, as it burns calories quicker. It is about eating the right foods, and it is about establishing and maintaining a program that works for you.”

“The KUT Boot Camp is a four-hour event designed to give each student a tremendous workout and teach them techniques that will help their regular workout routines,” added Ms. Meyer.  “No experience is required and all fitness levels will be accommodated.  We will be teaching keys to developing endurance, power, speed, flexibility, balance and core stability.”

The KUT Boot Camp is open to the public for $99 and all attendees must pre-register as space is limited.
