After missing last week, Courtney Houston returned and scored the first 10 points of Bishop Diego’s 67-23 girls basketball victory at Grace Brethren on Tuesday.
Houston, a 5-foot-3 guard, finished with a career-high 22 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists. Janelle Kohler hd eight points with nine boards, while Allison Breuer scored all 10 of her points in the second half.
Coach Jeff Burich said that his team suffeed a letdown in the second quarter, but he was happy to see a resurgence after halftime. Bishop (12-7, 2-1 Frontier League) plays at Malibu on Thursday.
