UCSB men’s basketball team played UC Davis tit for tat on Friday night in the first half at the Thunderdome before coming out a different team in the second frame to blow out the visiting Aggies 68-47.
UCSB and Davis were tied at 26-26 after 20 minutes of play before the Gauchos outscored the Aggies 42-21 in the final 20 minutes.
UCSB improves to 2-1 in Big West play after winning in their league home opener and welcomes Pacific on Sunday to the Thunderdome for a 3 p.m. tilt.
The Gauchos had four scorers in double-digits, led by James Nunnally’s 17.
