Raul Yescas took fourth place in the 215-pound division as the Dos Pueblos wrestling team finished 10th out of 38 teams at the Brea Olinda Tournament over the weekend. Chuy Lopez was fifth among 140-pounders and freshman Chad Lampe took seventh in the 103-pound class.
“It was sort of a rough weekend. I thought we’d do a little better than we did, but most of the matches we lost were competitive,” said coach Anthony Califano.
The Chargers are at the Blackhawk Invitational in La Quinta next weekend.
