Dos Pueblos ran out of gas on Monday at the Righetti Tournament, scoring only five points in the second half in a 49-39 loss to the host Warriors.
Molly Schlemer led Righetti with 16 points to help the Warriors rally from six points down at halftime.
Kristen Gowdy recorded a double-double for the Chargers, finishing with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Chiara DiMarco and Jasmine Mata also reached double-figures in scoring, gathering 12 and 11 points, respectively. But the Chargers were just 13-for-47 from the field as a team, struggling especially in the fourth quarter when they failed to score.
Dos Pueblos has a busy day ahead of them on Tuesday, with two games scheduled in pool play against Nipomo and Pioneer Valley.
