Already struggling, Santa Barbara’s boys basketball team faced what assistant coach John Slavin called the second-best opponent of the season so far on Monday night.
The result was a 70-30 non-conference win for Saugus, dropping the Dons to 0-11.
Jon Grisanti led the Centurions with 14 points followed by Ian Engle’s 13 points to help Saugus improve to 7-3.
Daniel Marshall posted a team-high 12 points for Santa Barbara, which was playing short-handed without Clifford Anderson and RJ Rosborough.
The Dons move on to host their Holiday Classic starting on Saturday.
