Chiara DiMarco and Jasmine Mata helped the Dos Pueblos girls basketball team hang close to Righetti on Tuesday night, only to see the Warriors escape Sovine Gym with a 55-48 non-league decision.
The Chargers, playing with only six players, cut a 14-point deficit down to three points before Righetti hit some late buckets to put it out of reach.
Mata ended up with a team-high 17 points while DiMarco finished with 16.
The Chargers (5-4) move on to this weekend’s Tournament of Champions, beginning Friday.
