Pirates making case for WSC supremacy

SBCC is in second place, four points behind defending champion Ventura, in the early standings for WSC Athletic Supremacy award. The Vaqueros, who finished third last year, have 43 points after a fall season that produced WSC titles in men’s soccer and women’s volleyball.

Points are awarded for 10 sports, including football. The Vaqueros don’t compete in wrestling, men’s water polo or women’s water polo.
