Laguna Blanca’s girls basketball team beat Condor League foe Thacher on the final day of its own tournament on Saturday, posting a 48-32 victory.
Megan McAlister totaled 14 points to lead the Owls offensively, followed by Amanda Schulenberg with 10 points. McAlister matched her point total in rebounds, recording the double-double.
Krysta Brown led Laguna on the defensive end, collecting seven of Laguna Blanca’s 21 steals while scoring seven points.
Lauren Butler tallied more than half of the Toads’ points, finishing with 17.
The Owls, which split four games at the tournament, improve to 2-4 on the season and host Grace Brethren on Tuesday.
