Rebecca Griffin dropped 23 points and freshman Ivette Gil added 19 in her first high school game as Santa Barbara High’s girls basketball team dominated Pinole Valley 64-24 in the Lompoc Tournament on Thursday.
Tess Emerson had 12 points and six rebounds for the Dons (1-0), who shot 17-for-27 from the floor in the first half.
Santa Barbara plays Cabrillo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday as tournament play continues.
