Rebecca Griffin’s 26 points was a factor for the Santa Barbara girls basketball team in a 69-48 victory over Pioneer Valley at the Righetti Tournament.
“I’m happy with the outcome because they’re a solid team,” Dons head coach Andrew Butcher, whose team improves to 10-3 on the season.
Pioneer Valley, which was led by Hannah Miller’s 17 points, falls to 7-4.
Griffin was assisted by career-highs in points with 16 by Tess Emerson and rebounds with 11 by Riley Lloyd.
Santa Barbara moves on to play El Camino on Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.
