Louis Giroux went 9-0, winning by pin in all but one of his 191-pound bouts on Saturday for the San Marcos wrestling team at the Camarillo Tournament.
The Royals had a total of five medal-winners. Julian Lake, who won the 217-pound division at the Newbury Park Tournament last week, took second in Camarillo with an 8-1 record. Both Lake and Giroux were wrestling in bigger divisions than normal.
Michael Martin took third among the 114-pounders with a 17-2 record, while David Billesbach (132 lbs.) and Connor Pfefferle (147 lbs.) each went 6-3 for fourth place.
Giroux is now 14-2 on the season and Lake is 13-2. The Royals wrestle at Santa Ynez on Tuesday.
