Dons still playing catch-up, fall to 0-2

Santa Barbara’s boys basketball team is still trying to catch up to the varsity level after returning no players from last year’s team. On Tuesday, the Dons struggled from the field and took a 46-12 loss at Camarillo.

“I just think that the game’s still a little bit fast for us. We got some good shots but missed a lot of easy ones, so it’s starting to become a little bit of a mental thing,” said coach Chris Hantgin.

The Dons (0-2) are back in action in Thursday in the Arroyo Grande Tournament.
