Bishop Diego crushed Coast Union 63-13 on Friday night, leaving zero doubt of the outcome in a non-league contest.
Janelle Kohler posted 10 points, seven rebounds and Kelsey Stimson tallied a game-high 11 points and four steals.
Cardinals head coach Jeff Burich had good things to say about freshman Greer Shull, who recorded nine points, four assists and two blocks. Burich also noted the play from Sophia Soto, who collected six points on 3-for-3 shooting.
Coast Union’s coach told Burich that four players had recently quit the team, affecting its competitiveness.
Bishop improves to 6-4 on the season and will be playing in the Valley Christian Tournament on Dec. 28-30.
