In its final game of the 2009 season, #25 Westmont Volleyball struggled to keep pace with #1 Fresno Pacific. The Warriors fell in three sets 25-9, 25-18, 25-17. Westmont tallied just 17 kills in the match while hitting just .063.
Katelyn Lowry and Jenise DeBie led the Warriors with five kills each. Martina Gregusova and Keke Wang led the Sunbirds with 12 kills each.
Westmont concludes the 2009 campaign with an overall record of 16-14 and a Golden State Athletic Conference mark of 7-13.
Senior middle blocker Katey Lowry finishes her collegiate career in fourth on the Westmont all-time attack percentage list at .284, having made 772 kills in 1808 attempts with 259 errors. Lowry ranks eighth in total career blocks at 244.
Senior libero Erin Dohm notched the second spot on the career digs per set list at 4.17. She finished the season with 457 digs – the eighth most in school history.
