The third annual SBCC Holiday Tennis Classic will take place this weekend (Nov. 21-22) at Pershing Park and the Municipal Tennis Courts.
There will be five singles divisions and three doubles in the two-day event, with proceeds going to the SBCC men’s and women’s tennis teams. The tourney, which runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, is sold out.
“We’ve got a very good field in the men’s open division with top local pros and a lot of good college players from UCSB, Westmont, SBCC, Glendale College and even a player from Duke,” noted Vaquero men’s tennis coach Don Lowry.
The finals in the men’s and women’s open divisions are expected to start around 1 p.m. on Sunday.
