Dos Pueblos and Santa Barbara both won coin-flips to gain home matches for the second round of the CIF Division 1-A girls volleyball playoffs on Thursday night.
The top-seeded Chargers (24-2) will host Rim of the World (15-7), the No. 2 team from the Mojave River League. Rim of the World, a seven-time CIF champion, defeated Claremont in four games Tuesday night. DP needed less than a hour to dispatch San Luis Obispo in three games. Game time is 6 p.m.
Second-seeded Santa Barbara (19-8) will take on Canyon of Anaheim in a 7 p.m. match at J.R. Richards Gym. Canyon (15-3) swept Hesperia in the first round while the defending division-champion Dons needed four games to get past Notre Dame Academy.
In the 4-AA Division, Laguna Blanca (17-1) faces Arrowhead Christian in a second-round match. Laguna Blanca had a first-round bye while Arrowhead Christian swept Norte Vista on Tuesday
