Whether they were looking for a little playoff karma or they just felt the need to do some good, the Dos Pueblos girls volleyball team spent this past Sunday outside of Vons collecting food and money for the Santa Barbara Food Bank.
In all, the team collected over $300 and 700 cans and boxes of food throughout the day.
“We did it to give to the food bank and help the hungry people in Santa Barbara. We are so privileged and I wanted to give back,” said libero Megan Smith.
