The Santa Barbara Soccer Club Girls Under 14 Team clinched their Silver Alpha League last weekend going 11-0 and securing the title with three games remaining. The win assured the team’s move up to Silver Elite status. The girls are currently on a 23-0 unbeaten streak, having not lost in league play over the last two seasons. Strong team defense and goalkeeping have allowed only 0.27 goals per game this season, while the 28 goals scored have come from eight different players!
The team travels to Chino Hills this weekend to begin League Cup competition. The SBSC girls team includes: Jamie Benedetto, Avery Blackman, Hannah Brisby, Teah Burdick, Ashley Carney, Annie deBruynKops, Hannah Harrah, Shelby Hoffman, Emma Jones, Kayla Klopstein, Annelise Morando, Leah Parlato, Clarissa Ramirez, Tiffany Siegel, Pauline Simes, Mari Solis, Emma Trumbull, and Ashlen Weddington. The team is coached by Marco Medina.
