After picking up their second big win of the season over Dos Pueblos on Tuesday, the San Marcos girls tennis team’s seniors got the day off on Wednesday.
The youngsters did just fine, as the Royals crushed host Buena 15-3. Coach Megan Cotich was able to bring in some reserves and they didn’t disappoint. She highlighted the play of Hannah McDaniels and Kimmi Pepitome, who teamed up and went 3-0 in doubles play.
The Royals, now 10-4 overall, finish up the regular season on Thursday against Ventura. Should they win, they will finish with a Channel League record of 6-2.
