Sarah Kirkwood earned medalist honors for the first time this season, shooting a 40 as the Santa Barbara High girls golf team cruised to a 219-269 victory over Ventura at par-35 Buenaventura Golf Course on Thursday.
Five different Dons have medaled this year thus far.
“Our lineup is pretty solid and we’re a deep team… Our girls are competitive with each other,” said coach Ryan Throop.
Haley True and Olivia Fanaro each shot 43 for the Dons.
Santa Barbara (14-3, 5-1) will play Dos Pueblos in a make-up match on Monday.
