Katherine Keller made her presence felt Thursday, leading the Santa Barbara high girls volleyball team to a 25-21, 25-13, 25-22 sweep of Buena at J.R. Richards Gym.
“She was on fire. She was all over the place — setting, digging and hitting,” said assistant coach Lee Carlander of the Columbia-bound senior.
Keller finished with a team-high nine kills as well as six blocks and eight digs.
“Buena has a new coach and they were good and scrappy,” said Carlander. “It was a workmanlike effort by us. We took care of business.”
Dani Rottman had six kills, Eve Ettinger had eight with four blocks and Paige Hawkins added seven digs and four kills. The Dons (11-3, 2-1 Channel League) host San Marcos on Tuesday.
