Emily Fox and Vanesa Villa shared medalist honors with rounds of 40 in the Dos Pueblos girls golf team’s 219-270 non-league win over Paso Robles at par-36 Hunter Ranch Golf Course on Wednesday.
“It’s a tough course and a good course. Overall I thought we had a pretty good day considering we’ve only played there once,” said coach Rob Schiff, who praised the consistentcy of Fox.
Villa began the round with a triple bogey butbounced back and played one-over for the next eight holes. Nicole Bullemer and Sami Hill each shot 43 while Paige Granneman fired a 53. Paso Robles was led by Kim Bergin’s 49.
The Chargers, now 13-0, play in the Channel League individuals on Monday and Tuesday at Soule Park in Ojai.
