Emily Fox medaled for the second time in three days, taking a stroke off her winning score from Monday to win again on Wednesday in a 206-315 Dos Pueblos win over Ventura at Glen Annie.
Fox’s 1-over 36 was followed next by Vanesa Villa’s 40. Sami Hill was in the mix with a 42 and freshman Bekah Beveridge posted a 43. Grace Jeong cleaned up with a 45.
The Channel League victory moves DP to 10-0 overall and 5-0 in league.
“It’s always nice to get a league win,” commented Chargers head coach Rob Schiff, who wants his team to get better before its next match on Tuesday at Santa Barbara.
A win against the Dons, who scored 210 against DP in their first meeting, would clinch at least a tie of another league title for the Chargers girls golf team.
