Santa Barbara High’s girls volleyball program got to take a look into its future on Monday, playing mostly younger players en route to a 25-12, 25-21, 25-17 win at Oxnard.
Setters Kira Schleich and Caitlin Sullivan got to run the offense for the first time and did a great job according to coaches Lee Carlander and John Gannon.
Stephanie Scarminach had five digs, while Dani Rottman had seven kills and “played Rottman-esque defense.”
Gannon also said that Torrie Armstrong did a nice job hitting from the outside.
