Paige Craine had three aces as the top-ranked Dos Pueblos girls volleyball team went over the hill and swept Santa Ynez 25-13, 25-14, 25-16 on Wednesday.
Coach Todd Garrett noted that Jordan Roberts added another ace and served tough throughout the match. Taylor Racich and Sam Wopat combined for five blocks.
“Gaelen Vasquez and Katie Spieler were money in service receive and added several key digs to help us win,” said Garrett. “Kelcey Chaffin and Karina Evans added to the offense in the middle helping to keep the opposing blockers off balance.”
DP is now 13-1 and will look to stay perfect in the Channel League when Buena pays a visit to Sovine Gym on Thursday night.
