Sam Wopat put away 16 of the 17 sets sent her way on Thursday night as the top-ranked Dos Pueblos girls volleyball team swept visiting Buena 25-19, 25-21, 25-15 after an emotional Senior Night ceremony.
“We have such a great group of kids it is difficult to think some, many, of them are leaving us,” said coach Todd Garrett of the nine players who will be graduating this year.
Carly Wopat had six aces while setters Paige Craine and Sammie Brown combined for 20 assists and six aces.
The Chargers (19-1, 6-0 Channel League) play at Santa Barbara on Tuesday.
