Sophia Rasmussen and the doubles team of Oriane Mattys and Hanna Schmitz won key matches for Dos Pueblos on Thursday, leading the Chargers to a 10-8 Channel League win at Ventura.
The two wins came in the third round with the match’s outcome in the balance.
Channel League singles champion Lauren Stratman won the two sets she played and DP’s top doubles team of Nicole Eskenazi and Kim Preston also won two matches. Schmitz paired with Gaby McDaniel for her second set win of the day.
