The Dos Pueblos girls tennis team couldn’t crack Arroyo Grande on Friday, dropping a non-league match 11-7 to the Eagles.
The Chargers, playing without defending Channel League singles champion Lauren Stratman, couldn’t crack Arroyo Grande’s Mia McKinstry in singles or the doubles team of Allie Martin and Caitlin Milich.
DP’s Chloe Warinner and Sophia Rasmussen won two sets each, as did the Chargers’ top doubles team of Nicole Eskenazi and Kim Preston.
Dos Pueblos has two matches remaining on their regular season schedule. Rio Mesa visits Goleta on Monday for another non-league contest before the Chargers face the Dons of Santa Barbara High on Tuesday in the two teams’ Channel League finale.
