San Marcos’ Lise Anderson was medalist for the second straight match, carding a 38 that still wasn’t enough for the Royals to pull out a Channel League win against Buena on Thursday.
The Royals shot 276 to Buena’s 232 at Buenaventura Golf Course.
Anderson’s round consisted of five pars and a birdie.
“She works hard in practice and makes great decisions on the course,” Royals head coach Shawn Ricci said of Anderson.
San Marcos falls to 0-2 in league and travels to Atascadero on Monday for a non-league match.
