Laguna Blanca’s girls tennis team bursted from the gates on Thursday, rolling over Bishop Diego 18-0 in both teams’ opener.
“It was a total team effort, everyone played from a-to-z,” said new Owls head coach Brian Antecki
Liza Fletcher swept at No. 1 singles while freshman Catlin Connor and sophomore Becca Braley teamed to do the same in the No. 1 doubles slot.
Laguna faces a much stiffer test in Dos Pueblos next.
