The San Marcos girls volleyball team took a two-games-to-one lead but couldn’t maintain on Tuesday, falling 25-15, 27-29, 24-26, 25-13, 15-11 at Hart.
Emma Campbell’s 23 digs were a team high and Jaime Mayner was active at the net with four stuff blocks and eight kills.
The Royals play again at home Sept. 24 against Oxnard, but first will head south to the Dave Mohs Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
