Olivia Fanaro led the Santa Barbara girls golf team to its sixth victory of the season, helping the Dons to a three-way victory over Moorpark and Camarillo at Camarillo Springs Golf Course on Tuesday.
The team scores were Santa Barbara with 230, Moorpark with a 245 and Camarillo 267. With the win, the Dons improved to 6-1 on the early season.
Fanaro’s team-low 43 wasn’t low enough for medalist honors as Moorpark’s Madison McBride scored a 40. Haley True and Lexi Ortega both trailed Fanaro with a 46. Saralisa Ortega posted a 47, Kylie Wagner a 48, and Sarah Kirkwood a 51.
Santa Barbara’s next match is Wednesday against Pacifica. Moorpark now stands at 3-4 and Camarillo is 0-2.
