Dubs, Mannix dominate for San Marcos netters

The San Marcos girls tennis doubles teams were simply dominant on Wednesday, winning all nine sets played — seven by a 6-0 score — in a 12-6 victory over St. Bonaventure. Amy Ransohoff and Christine Pearson went 18-0 in games on the day for the Royals, while sophomore Caitlin Mannix was 3-0 in sets against a solid Seraphs singles side.

“The doubles were awesome. That’s really a strength for us, obviously,” said first-year head coach Megan Cotich.

The Royals (2-0) play Woodbridge in Irvine on Friday.
