Dos Pueblos cross country coach Leslie Wiggins-Roth rested her varsity runners in anticipation for this Wednesday’s all-important Channel League meet on the Chargers’ turf, but DP nonetheless got some solid performances out of its second string at Saturday’s Ojai Invitational.
Camille Patterson was DP’s top girls finisher with a time of 22 minutes, 48 seconds, and her other four teammates were all remarkably within 30 seconds of her. On the boys side, Richard Souleles continued to make a push for a varsity spot with a time of 19:07, which Wiggins-Roth said was quite a feat considering the 85-degree heat and a tough course.
