Derek Shoemaker scored seven goals and Kevin Cappon added six to go along with five assists as the Dos Pueblos boys water polo team opened its season with an easy 22-7 win over Righetti on Thursday at Elings Aquatic Center.
Jared Rassler made his DP debut after transferring from Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego and finished with two steals and a goal. Matt Johnson led Righetti with a pair of goals.
