Lauren Stratman won her two sets 6-0, 6-0, as did the doubles team of Kim Preston/Nicole Eskenazi to lead the Dos Pueblos girls tennis team to a 13-5 win at Cate on Saturday.
“It was not our best effort today, but I was pleased with the play of Madison Snider and Marguerite Mannix who fought back and won their last two sets of singles play,” said Cate coach Barbara DeGroot.

DP coach Suzy Dahl highlighted Katie O’Brien and Rachel Amspoker, who notched a 3-0 day in doubles after coming back from a 1-5 deficit in the final round.
Cate is now 1-2 and will host San Marcos on Wednesday, while DP is 5-2 and plays at Buena on Tuesday.
