San Marcos’ early season struggles continued on Wednesday night, as the Royals’ girls volleyball team was swept at Buena, 25-14, 25-12, 25-20.
“They run a quick offense. We played well at times, but our passing broke down and we made way too many errors,” said coach Erica Downing.
Laura Masho came off the bench and tallied three aces with four digs while captain Katie Shara came in and provided much-needed energy in the third set.
San Marcos hosts Santa Ynez on Thursday night.
