The Santa Babara Volleyball Club 15-Blue won the Bronze in the Open Division of the Junior Olympics, which placed them first in the state of California and 3rd in the nation.
Santa Barbara beat No. 1 seed Texas Tornadoes (25-23, 16-25, 15-12) and Vision (25-22, 25-17) to advance onto the quarterfinals. Santa Barbara then went on to beat Austin Juniors in the quarterfinals 25-23 and 25-21.
They then lost to eventual National Champion TAV in 3 games (26-24, 17-25, 8-15). Taylor Racich and Danielle Rottman were named tournament All-Americans.
