The Pegasus Cup belongs to Real California’s U10 girls soccer team after an epic championship game finally ended in victory after a nine-round shoot out.
California found itself in a 2-0 hole at halftime against West Coast FC, yet was able to claw back in the second half to tie the match at 2-2. It took two 7-minute overtimes and the nine rounds of penalty kicks to decide the ultimate winner.
Real California is made up of players from Santa Barbara, Camarillo, Moorpark and Simi Valley.
